St Michael’s Church
We have been appointed to aid in the restoration of the Grade II Listed St Michael’s Church in Ipswich, the future permanent home of The Ark of the Lord Church congregation.
Following a fire in 2011, the roof of the church suffered extensive fire damage, leaving the 19th century building derelict. Working in collaboration with conservation specialists, LDN Architects, the main church building, the adjacent hall, and the land surrounding these buildings are the focus of this redevelopment.
Community is at the heart of the project, with accessibility and inclusivity acting as our key drivers. The Client’s ambitious vision looks to accommodate community, outreach, and educational programmes, alongside protecting significant features of the original historic building.
