Wire Frame

Studio Gil were commissioned by Lendlease to design an external performance stage for one of the new parks developed as part of the wider Elephant and Castle regeneration. WireFrame has been conceived as a piece of ‘Urban Furniture’ to be used by the wider public as a seating and benching apparatus when not used for performances. The stage has been designed and fabricated as 4 distinct units that can be forklifted and transported to different areas around the borough depending on performances and needs of the local community groups.
